Most assignment prints are needed late at night, a few hours before submission. The campus shop is shut, so students wait till morning and then stand in a crowd before the first lecture.
PrinToken moves the printer into the hostel and lets the app handle payment and the queue, so a print takes about a minute at the machine.

Prices can vary by campus. The app always shows the final amount before you pay.
Wallet bonus and the bulk discount add up. A 100-page job paid from your wallet costs about ₹409 instead of ₹500.

- Files travel over an encrypted connection and are deleted after printing.

Questions students ask
Where is the printer?
Inside your hostel block, usually near the entrance or common room. The app shows the exact spot.
What files can I print?
PDFs only for now. Export Word or PowerPoint files as PDF first.
What if my print fails or the printer jams?
The app refunds you automatically for pages that didn't print. You can also tap "Print didn't come out" on the job to report it.
Can someone else pick up my pages?
No. Your job prints only after you scan at the station, and a slip with your name and token prints on top.
What if I'm not at the printer when my turn comes?
You get about two minutes. After that the next student who is present goes first, and your job moves back in the queue.
How do I pay?
By UPI inside the app through Razorpay, or from your wallet balance. Topping up the wallet gives you 10% extra. We never see or store your UPI or bank details.
Is colour printing available?
Not yet. Colour comes after the pilot, at ₹10 a page.
